Our Congress Networking Dinner is on Friday night. If you would like to attend the Networking Dinner you need to have purchased a ticket in advance.
The Networking dinner will take place at the Municipal House, Náměstí Republiky 5, Prague 1, please look for the WMS flags outside of the entrance to the building.
A three-course meal will be served and then a band will play music so people can enjoy dancing. The Networking Dinner starts at 19:15 two hours after the Congress day finishes. There will not be any arranged transport to the dinner. Attendees will use their Congress travel pass to make their own way using public transport. This is a great opportunity to use the time to explore Prague before dinner and make your own way to the dinner.
The best way to get from the Congress Centre to the Municipal House is to use Metro lines C (red) and B (yellow). The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes.
The closest Metro station to the Congress Centre is Vysehrad on line C, which is around a 4-minute walk from the Congress Centre. When you leave the Congress Centre head towards the road, cross over the footbridge and walk along Congress Street to the station entrance. You can use your travel pass issued at the Congress registration.
Take the train towards the city centre (stop Letňany) and go 4 stops to the metro stop Florenc. Get off the train at the Florenc stop and follow the sign 'transfer B' (yellow line), you will need to follow the corridor and go down the escalator twice to get to Metro line B. The transfer should take approximately 5 minutes.
From Florenc you will need to go one stop and get off at Náměstí Republiky. When follow the signs towards E6-E7, Street Na Příkopě and Municipal House to exit the Metro.
When you come out of the metro, you will find yourself in the Square of the Republic. Go straight ahead and you will see the Municipal House building (opposite the Hybernia Theatre). The entrance to the building is on your left.
The event finishes at 01:00 but you are not expected to stay until the end and are welcome to leave whenever suits you. You can use your Metro card until 00:00 (midnight) to make your way back to your accommodation or continue your night out in Prague. Don't forget the Congress Programme starts early the next morning with Clinical Trial Updates at 07:45-08:45.
If you have advised us during the registration process of a specific dietary requirement you will be issued with a place card when you arrive to check in for the dinner. Please place this card in your place setting for your server to see clearly. Please introduce yourself to your server so they are fully aware of your requirements. We will work to ensure there are menu options that meet all dietary requirements. Special meals will only be available for those who have pre-requested them with us during registration.
We will also have two alcohol-free tables for those who would be more comfortable sitting with others who don’t drink alcohol. These will be based on a first come first served basis and no alcohol will be served on these tables. Please look out for the signage indicating these tables.
There is no formal dress code but people who attend the Networking Dinner tend to use the opportunity to dress up. You may wish to bring comfortable shoes for walking to and from the venue. There will be a cloakroom available to leave your bags and coats.
