When you arrive at the Congress registration desk you will be issued with a Travel ticket as in the picture below for use on all of the Metro, Bus and Tram/Train lines in central Prague. You validate the card when you are ready to travel on the Metro for the first time by inserting it at one of the kiosks in the Metro, bus or tram station using the machines shown below, this will stamp a date onto the ticket. Once it is validated you can use the ticket as many times as you like for the duration of the Congress (8-12 October).
Please note you must have your Congress badge with you when you use the ticket and there will be only one ticket per person, if you lose your ticket we will be unable to replace it.
Tickets can look as follows:
It is very important to validate your ticket in one of the yellow terminals as pictured below, these are located at the entrances to the Metro stations and in trams, buses and trains. If you do not validate the ticket you can be fined up to 1000 CZK.
