The World Muscle Society Annual International Congress is the foremost event in the field of neuromuscular disorders.
Each year, around 1,000 delegates from around the world come together to share the latest science in the field, network, share ideas and enhance the global knowledge of many of these life limiting diseases.
As a newly started PhD-student in the beginning of my scientific career, to attend the Congress was a great opportunity and honour to listen and talk to the most renowned researchers in the neuromuscular field and other fellow peers, which definitely further encouraged my interest in the field and will help launching my own scientific career at this early stage.

Our 2024 Congress will take place in Prague, Czechia from 8th-12th October, with the Pre-Congress Teaching Course running through 7th and 8th October. It promises to be our most successful Congress yet, based in the very heart of Europe. It's our first European Congress since our 2019 event in Copenhagen and we're looking forward to welcoming a global audience to the Prague Congress Centre.

The WMS Congress 2024 has been confirmed as Compliant by Ethical Med Tech.
Any Sponsor showcasing pharmaceutical (or pharma-dependent) products is advised to consult the IPCAA (International Pharmaceutical Congress Advisory Association), EFPIA Code of Practice (European Federation of Pharmaceuticals Industries & Associations), IFPMA (International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations), and the MedTech Europe Code of Ethical Business Practice before applying.
For Sponsors located in the USA or Canada, the Sponsor must comply for the avoidance of doubt with such applicable laws, regulations, and codes of practice, including, without limitation, those promulgated by the FDA (U.S. Food & Drugs Administration), and Advamed, to the extent applicable.
It is the Exhibitor’s or Sponsor’s responsibility to comply with all national and international laws and regulations that pertain to its particular industry and to ensure that a compliance officer has approved the specific sponsorship items before the application.
